We have completed our journey through the Gospels and the Book of Acts as well as some of the key writings of Paul. There are some laminated bookmarks left over in the church or feel free to reprint those linked here. There is no copyright to them so feel free to distribute and share as much as you would like! The original files were done in Publisher (.pub) as well as through Word (.docx). If you would the editable originals please contact us here

Our journey through the book of Acts is now complete! In the final quarter of the year we'll be looking at the most prolific author of the Bible - Paul, as we journey through his writings. Join us as we explore his epistles; the additional reading paints a picture of the life and experiences of Paul (but note that it does directly correlate with the schedule passage). The book Sketches from the Life of Paul can be found here.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This statement by Paul in Hebrews 13:8 is probably one the simplest and yet most profound in Scripture. Those of you that are Christians have probably heard about it all your life, right from Sabbath School to sermons and perhaps even television and evangelistic outreach opportunities. And yet, merely hearing about it from someone else is not enough. He wants us to discover Him individually, and of course collectively through the Word.

Here at Kingscliff church, we are embarking on one of the most basic journeys of the Christian faith - to meet Jesus in the Bible. The plan is designed to be as simple or as deep as you want to go. Here are your possible options (please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!):

1. Just read.

The designated passage isn't very long; some of us are just embarking on this journey, so this is as good a place to start as any. Commit a few minutes each day to reading, and then spend time in prayer. Even if you miss a day, it's easy enough to catch up tomorrow. =)

2. Just read some more.

The additional reading column includes other relevant passages, as well as the writings / commentary from Ellen White, should you wish to spend more time reading. You can find the books referred to in the reading here. Apps are also available for the iPhone / iPad as well as for Android

3. STUDY.

If you want to delve into not just reading, but really studying the passage, the pastoral team here at Kingscliff would like to help you on your way especially if you're just newly starting out.

4. Discuss and share.

Part of our journey and walk with God is the thrill and excitement that comes with telling others what we've discovered! Each week there will be a key study passage and the pastoral team will post a short 300-500 word blog every Friday based on this passage. Feel free to comment and share - the first blog will be posted on January 11th.

And of course don't just share online, but share Jesus with EVERYONE!!

May 2013 be a year of us drawing closer to the Lord in preparation for Him to take us back to that heavenly home that awaits us!
